I share God’s will for happiness for me. [W-p1.102.1.1]
This year I did something amazingly awesome.
I planted tulips.
For the uninitiated, this requires a bit of foresight. You plant the bulbs in the Fall. Bury them. Then wait…And wait…And waiiiiit until Spring to see if they will sprout.
When March hit, I began looking for my little gems. When nothing came up-I immediately began thinking the worst. I must of have planted them upside-down. Some nefarious deer dug them up for a snack. Or maybe, they just didn’t like my soil. My ground wasn't fertile enough.
Then, the miraculous began to happen. I saw sprouts! Beautiful, graceful leaves peaking their magnificent heads out of the soil to drink in the sunlight.
But still I worried. Only a few had sprouted. Now they would appear uneven! What to do. Ruinous tulips. Why has thou forsaken me!!! (NOTE: My mind may have slight Shakespearean flare for the dramatic).
But wonder of all wonders they all showed up. In their good time. In their perfect space. And you know what? I didn’t have to do a darned thing to make it happen. Other than planting the seeds (aka bulbs).
And so it is with Source’s will for happiness for us. Source plants the seeds of joy in our being at our creation. And even if we don’t do anything or nurture those seeds, they are still germinating. Waiting to grow wings and sprout into our earthly days.
Even suffering and fears can’t grow weeds to displace the deep roots of these powerful seeds of happiness. And, like my dear tulips, this happiness returns year after year. Blooming with the radiance of love in motion.
Rest in this joy my sweet friends. Relax. Receive the peace and safety that lives within. Choose happiness. It is your birthright. YOUR All-That-Is. In everything that you do. And in all you are. Love created you as itself.
Happy. Whole. One. Today we accept these amazing gifts to live in the light of love. Beyond our greatest imaginings.
Namaste
