My mind holds only what I think with God (Source)./ Forgiveness is the key to happiness. Forgiveness offers everything I want. [W-p1.141.4.1-3]
Recently, when reading Marianne Williamson’s Daily Meditation she, as is tradition, put a whole new spin on the idea of forgiveness.
I’ve mentioned I struggle with this concept a bit. Understanding what is mine to do. Letting go of what was never really an attack in the first place…
Williamson suggested those situations or people we struggle to forgive show us where the limits of our own forgiveness live. They are our teachers in life. Inviting us to see where we can grow just an iiiity-bit more.
And I want it. For sure. To be happy. To be free of what I perceive as lack in another. To be free of what is truly just a perceived lack in myself.
If our lives are truly reflections of what is going on inside, forgiveness is the key to working out what is no longer ours to live. The projections we are ready to face and move on from.
Today we can seize the opportunity to grow with both hands. And, even when it feels uncomfortable. To be proud of the work we are doing to grow into our big-girl forgiveness pants. (And, if I may say so, you look smashing in them ; ) )
Forgive. Let go. It holds everything you want along with the mind of Source. It is the All-That-Is.
