How can illusions satisfy God’s Son?
Has anyone seen the movie Happy Gilmore with Adam Sandler? It’s about a hockey player…who becomes a golfer to save his Grandma’s home.
In one scene Happy (Sandler’s character) begins spewing expletives in anger at a ball that falls just short of going in the hole.
Why didn't you go home?! He yells. That's your home! Are you too good for your home?! Answer me!
ACIM Lesson 272, though slightly more civil and less curse-y, is begging us to do the same. To go home.
Remember your home, Dear LightWorker. When the media shows you a world gone mad.
Remember your home. When the Light seems dim. Remember Your Home. When life is sad. Or upsetting. Or unsure. Remember your home. Because you are not this body, this existence, this tiny expression of a life that is bigger than any heartache.
You are more.
The truth is your home is in Heaven. All else is illusion. And illusion can never bring lasting happiness. True joy. Accept no less. Heaven is within. It has been gifted to us from our creator. In our memory. In our Love. In the very essence of our being forever still. Forever gentle.
Forever safe. Why be content with dreams when Heaven waits? And it is within.
You ARE home Dear LightWorkers. You are not too good for it. Remember your home in joy today.
Namaste LightChaser.
