Peace be to me, the holy Son of God. Peace to my brother, who is one with me. Let all the world be blessed with peace through us.
All in all, I consider myself to be a pretty positive person. Most days I’m optimistic. But some days….when the cat’s have demolished floor, there’s loads of laundry to do, and the counter is riddled with dishes I get…well I get irritated. Especially when my plan for tackling said projects falls through.
I don’t know when I’ll fit it all in. I worry. I grumble.
And guess what? It gets done anyway. Always. Even if I need to postpone taking the laundry out of the dryer for a week (or re-wash the laundry because I forgot it was in the washer). It works out.
The kicker is, I’ve used energy I could have been using to do something I love, worrying about something I don’t. Living in a world of probabilities.
But there’s an alternative I sometimes don’t consider. Something amazing could happen instead. And when I let go of the story of how things should be (i.e. Do laundry at 10, Put clothes away at 10:30, Dishes at….you get the idea). I can find the story of all that’s possible.
Lesson 360 states that these possibilities bring us a world of peace. Outside of any attachment to what should be, we find the certainty of our stillness within. And this peace can rub off, like a scratch & sniff sticker, to someone else who needs it. When we remember to carry this peace with us everywhere. When we transcend our worries and find the humor and excitement in life. This is the true essence of Peace on Earth. Because it starts with us. Living undisturbed within our center. Certain in its blessings.
Here’s to a more peaceful holiday season my dear friends. One where you know that shopping, and dishes and cat chaos don’t define you. But that beautiful light within sure does. And the world is a better place with you shining in it. Shine on LightWorker.
Namaste
