I will be still a moment and go home.
When I was 8 years old, if something devastating would happen in my 8-year-old self’s life, (You know, earth-shattering stuff like not getting the doll I wanted or missing a friend.) I would get this weird feeling in the pit of my stomach. I would cry and say:
I just want to go home!
Many 8-year olds have these moments. Going for a sleep-over. Calling mom to take them back home because they are afraid. You know the drill. I got those feelings too. Weird. Only while I was at home at my Mom & Dads. Huh.
Perhaps you have felt this way too. Whether it be missing your childhood home, or a loved one recently passed. Lesson 182 states that these experiences are not so uncommon. And that, in fact, they are reminding us of something we have long forgot. We are not home.
And even when we try to mask this fact. To numb out with food. Or media. Whatever the vice of the moment is (coffee for me). This haunted earth-school will never be where we truly feel belonging.
Lesson 182 says we can make a thousand physical homes and not feel peaceful. But, like my 8-year old self, the child within knows. And it will not stop whispering to you of your true place in the Universe. Of your unlimited capacity. Of the place where your true stillness and peace infinitely lies.
Sublime in its certainty. A pure reflection of the light of Heaven.
Return to the certainty of your innocence today dear friends. If even for a moment. Be still and look for the truth of who you are within. In this you will remember where your home is. In THIS you will find the peace that is always yours to live.
Namaste LightWorker.
