Nothing I see in this room [on this street, from this window, in this place] means anything.
Well, well, we are starting off with *bang* aren’t we?
Nothing is real-whaaaaat?
A foundational tenant of ACIM ( A Course in Miracles) is that we are all really just actors in this cosmic dance. Walking around with our troubles and windows and tables believing that what we see, feel, and touch with our senses is the all that is.
In fact, we are more. We are Divine. You will hear this many times in the lessons. We. Are. Divine.
And when I can get past the way my pen feels in my hand, or the seemingly profound argument I have with my cat about keeping his food in his bowl, I transcend the obvious to find something more. To find my soul. My purpose. The Universe just hanging out like a boss within me, waiting to be acknowledged.
So today I'll try on Lesson 1’s advice: Take a second look at the things I put my attention on. The circumstances, people, places….kitty food on the floor. Anything really.
Lesson 1 asks us to be indiscriminate. See what gels with who you want to be and align with.
Allowing the rest to fade into the Maya (aka illusion) it really is.
Namaste Light Chaser!
