This instant is all there Is.
I love a good plan. Anyone else like a little structure in their lives?
Where are we going? What are we doing? When? Questions, questions, questions.
They are my JAM!
There’s nothing wrong with a direction. A vision is even better methinks.
But there is a point when my plans cloud my experience. A fine line drawn in the sand that disallows any Universal Ju-Ju to come in and bring me an even BETTER experience than I could ever imagine.
And if there are any planners out there like me, you may be thinking Can chance really deliver better than my structure? I have a story.
One day I was getting ready for work. As I was getting ready to head out the door, I couldn’t find my shoes anywhere. I was frustrated with myself. Annoyed that I hadn’t put my shoes back where they normally live. I looked & looked. I swear it took me 10 minutes to find the darn things.
When I finally got to work, I was running late. As I stepped in the door, I noticed one of my friendly co-workers inside the building. I stopped, exchanged some quick pleasantries before noticing something lurking in his eyes.
In that moment I had a choice. Barrel on to the job I was already late for….or ask the question.
What’s really going on.
So I asked. It turns out he had a tragic death in his family that very weekend. Someone he dearly loved. We hugged and he shared what he was going through. It was a poignant moment.
But if I had stuck to my schedule. If I had chosen structure over substance-I would have missed it. The opportunity to be there in the moment. Right where I was supposed to be.
Lesson 308 reminds me of this story. That all of the schedules, and worries, and to-do’s are really just masks for the gifts we receive in our eternal now. The Universe has plans for Us Dear LightWorkers. Bigger than our mortal eyes could ever see.
I can’t wait to see what you do with your Holy Instants.
Shine on LightWorker. Namaste.
